Although the characters and style of the book are more for 6 to 7 year olds, the content and concepts seemed to be more targeted at 10 year olds. This is not a book for a child to read alone, but can be a book to be used by teachers or parents to open up discussions with children about dreaming.
The story is about Joey, a bouncy happy kangaroo, who has a series of bad dreams that his parents lovingly help him understand them. Children will be fascinated and enlightened as Joey learns to make sense of his bad dreams and to put himself back to sleep feeling comforted and in charge.
